The University of Texas System compliance policy and directives state that employees of all UT institutions are responsible for compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Compliance activity is closely monitored by each institution and periodically reported to the UT System Office. To ensure that employees are aware of and trained on the compliance requirements, annual training is provided. In accordance with UT System, state regulations and The Joint Commission, compliance training is a requirement of all UT Health Science Center at Tyler employees.
Annual compliance training modules are required for every employee within 30 days of their start date, and annually thereafter. These modules have been updated and will be assigned to all employees beginning the week of May 3rd in NetLearning (accessible through Performance Manager). To access Annual Training, please go to https://www.healthcaresource.com/performance/uthsct and click on Learning Assignments.
In conjunction with annual compliance training, TB surveillance is also due. Please ensure you complete the TB screening form. The link for the form is within the 2021 ACT Occupational Health module.
Managers, please ensure your staff is aware of these training requirements and ensure timely completion for your area. Managers may view the status of their employees’ training completions by selecting the “Employees” tab at the top of the screen, then select “Employee List” from the drop-down, then select “Vitals” per employee. Another option for monitoring progress is available by using the NetLearning reports feature. Instructions for running reports for your employees can be found at http://bit.ly/UTHSCTNetLearningManagerReports. Managers will also receive weekly email reports listing their employees and their incomplete modules. The deadline for completion is June 30, 2021. Should you have any questions or problems accessing the material, please contact Kristine Voorhies at Kristine.Voorhies@nulluthct.edu.
